PERFASCOUR MSA
PERFASCOUR MSA
PERFASCOUR MSA is a blend of selected non-ionic and anionic detergents developed for processing wool and cashmere in both knitted and woven form.
Perfascour MSA is available in 120 & 200 kg drums, 1000 kg IBC’s and bulk deliveries.
Application
Can be used in dolly scouring machines, short liquor ratio machine (rotating cage) or long liquor machines (side paddle etc.). Normally a single bath process with Perfascour MSA alone will be sufficient, however where it is known that the spinning oil is difficult to remove the addition of a buffer may be advisable.
Normal application levels would be 1-1.5 % owf. If a separate mill is utilised, 1% owf Perfascour MSA should be applied in the scour, 0.5% Perfascour MSA will be sufficient for milling.
If the addition of a buffer is felt to be necessary 1-2g/l sodium bicarbonate will suffice.
As Perfascour MSA readily rinses from the substrate, two short rinses will be sufficient.
Perfascour MSA should be diluted in cold or warm water prior to use.
Benefits
- Phosphate: Perfascour MSA is phosphate free.
- Biodegradability: Formulated with surfactants which are classed as readily and ultimately biodegradable.
- Non yellowing: Compounds built into Perfascour MSA will reduce natural fibres tendency to yellow in wet processing.
- Scouring: Designed for use either on its own or with a small amount of a buffer such as sodium bicarbonate.
- Handle: Leaves woollen goods with a soft bulky handle.
- Cross staining: Built-in anti-redeposition agents will help eliminate cross staining.
