SPARK EROSION FLUID EDM
SPARK EROSION FLUID EDM
SPARK EROSION FLUID EDM is a low viscosity fluid, formulated from virtually colourless, low odour base stocks, producing an oil specially designed for use in electrical discharge machining (EDM) operations.
Application
Suitable for spark erosion and wire erosion machining operations. The very low aromatic content is in line with current health and safety requirements, and the low volatility and resistance to fuming, together with the high flash point and reduced fire risk, provides increased operator acceptability when compared to alternative products based on industrial kerosene.
Benefits
- Improved surface finish when compared to kerosene-based products.
- Leaves work free of both oil and residues.
- Non staining of metal components.
- Good corrosion protection.
- Excellent metal removal and filterability.
- Promotes uniform surface colour.
- Very low odour for greater operator acceptability.
