SARCOOL XT-SH is a formaldehyde free, highly bio-stable water-miscible coolant designed to give outstanding performance when machining a wide variety of materials. The ultra-low foam performance in all water types reduces misting which means the in-use emulsion remains in the machine sump and not extracted through filter mist type units. Free of formaldehyde, DCHA, chlorine and free boric acid, this advanced formulation provides a good work place environment for machine operators in all water qualities from 0 – 700 ppm harness.

Application

SARCOOL XT-SH is suitable for use with modern high pressure coolant systems and has outstanding tramp oil rejection properties and is particularly suited to the machining of aluminium as well as sensitive aerospace aluminium alloys, steels and titanium. This clean running product provides excellent multi metal performance across a wide variation of machining operations making it an ideal choice as a single use product solution.

Fluid Maintenance

To check and maintain fluid concentration a refractometer is recommended, the resulting reading multiplied by the refractometer conversion factor will give the actual concentration strength. Maintaining a consistent concentration is paramount to prolonging the fluid sump life. To promote long service life, it is strongly advised that coolant systems are thoroughly sterilised with a System Cleaner prior to coolant changes (see Sarsol System Cleaner Technical Data Sheet for further information and guidelines).
