SARCOOL SYN 7150
SARCOOL SYN 7150
SARCOOL SYN 7150 is a next generation synthetic high performance cutting and grinding fluid designed for cutting and grinding operations on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. The formulation provides superior cooling and flushing characteristics together with excellent corrosion protection whilst minimising the build-up of ‘sticky’ residues. The product has excellent operator acceptance being boron, biocide formaldehyde and secondary amine free.
Application
Sarcool SYN 7150 is an incredibly adaptable product and uses the latest water soluble polymer technology to give superb performance and surface finish in a range of light to heavy duty cutting, grinding, pressing and forming operations. The product is extremely low foaming and works equally well in both hard and soft waters. Esoecially suited for machning sensitive non-ferrous alloys but is a proven performer on all ferrous metals including hard steels and FRP (Fibre reinforced plastic) materials.
Benefits
- Mineral oil free solution of water-soluble polymers.
- Highly stable, even in the most hostile conditions.
- Designed for applications where good lubrication properties are required.
- Excellent high surface finish and tool life.
- All components of the lubricant will ‘burn off’ under bright annealing conditions.
- Suitable for all ferrous, non-ferrous and FRP (fibre reinforced plastic).
- High degree of cleanliness in use.
- Forms a stable solution even in the hardest of waters.
- Very low foaming characteristics.
- Boron, biocide, formaldehyde and secondary amine free.

Fluid Maintenance
To check and maintain fluid concentration a refractometer is recommended, the resulting reading multiplied by the refractometer conversion factor will give the actual concentration strength. Maintaining a consistent concentration is paramount to prolonging the fluid sump life. To promote long service life, it is strongly advised that coolant systems are thoroughly sterilised with a System Cleaner prior to coolant changes (see Sarsol System Cleaner Technical Data Sheet for further information and guidelines).
Further tests for bacteria, fungus, pH and tramp oil contamination are available through our Cooltrak Fluid Management Service. This service offers guidance and assistance for users to comply with current HSE legislative requirements. Please contact us for further details.
