SARDRAW 500
SARDRAW 500 is a blend of severely solvent refined oil, EP additives and corrosion inhibitors. It is free from chlorine and is suitable for a wide range of machining and presswork applications from severe to light duty. This unique formulation allows the product to be either used neat or as a conventional water mix drawing or cutting fluid as it forms a stable emulsion when mixed with water.
Sardraw 500 contains high film strength performance esters with good EP properties. The product is formulated using a unique additive combination working in a perfect balanced synergy to enable neat oil applications such as broaching, boring, tapping, thread and gear cutting to be considered for a switch to water soluble technology. It is inherently low foam and is a perfect choice for use in most water conditions.
Application
Designed for use for all types of arduous manufacturing applications. Suitable for a wide range of presswork applications for drawing, stamping and blanking across all types of metals and gauges. The performance additives incorporated into the fluid provides outstanding performance on machining operations and can often be used to replace neat cutting oil applications. Gives outstanding surface finish on all types of aluminium and associated alloys as well as machining of high tensile steels.
