SARGREASE CGR2
SARGREASE CGR2
SARGREASE CGR2 is a premium quality, water resistant grease for use in industrial and marine applications where the presence of water and humid atmospheres can effect lubricating performance and be detrimental to the protection of parts from corrosion. The performance is further enhanced with graphite for use in heavy duty plain bearings and slides, as it will fill surfaces and distribute load evenly preventing further wear and is therefore particularly suitable to extend the life worn components.
Application
Can be applied manually, or by using a standard grease gun, or via a central lubricating system designed for and capable of pumping an NLGI No.2 grease. As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge bearings prior to application. Likewise, as a general rule, take care not to over-lubricate and apply the quantity of grease recommended by the bearing manufacturer.
Benefits
- High levels of water resistance and excellent anti-corrosion capabilities protect components and extend lubricant service life when operating in wet or humid conditions.
- Enhanced oxidation stability provides lasting lubrication at higher temperatures.
- The addition of a solid lubricant imparts exceptional anti-wear, load-carrying and shock-load resistance properties to reduce component wear.
