PERFAKNIT 46
PERFAKNIT 46 is a highly efficient needle lubricants possessing good emulsion forming properties with excellent antiwear performance and blended with high quality hydroprocessed base oils. These oils are based on proven technology used in the textile industry for decades.
PERFAKNIT 46 does not contain banned substances listed by GOTS, ZDHC, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and Bluesign.
Application
Lubrication of needles, sinkers and cams of all types knitting machines, including electronic machines. They can also be used for the lubrication of flat-bed machines where the appropriate viscosity grade is specified.
PERFAKNIT 46 suitable for use with all types of oiling units commonly fitted to knitting machines including automatic oilers. It is recommended that the machine manufacturers’ guidelines are followed with respect to the oil application rates. The oil is readily emulsifiable so any water in the airlines or on equipment should be avoided.
Before using PERFAKNIT 46 please ensure a full drain and clean of the system to remove the previous needle oil. Each needle oil is different and they can react with each other leading to the formation of gels and deposits in the knitting machine. It is recommended to flush the machine with the oil after cleaning and to knit a metre of fabric before filling the machine with fresh clean oil for full operation.

Storage Advice / Shelf Life
Extremes of temperature should be avoided – do not store in freezing conditions or above +400C. The product is unaffected by normal ambient temperatures of between +50C and +350C, and a 24-month shelf life can be expected when stored in unopened containers and storage recommendations are observed.
