MW0102

SARSOL 102 W is the latest in boron and formaldehyde free technology for general purpose machining, forming and roll forming applications. This formulation contains high levels of synthetic ester lubricity, offering significant advantages in performance without the use of chlorinated additives. It is inherently low foam and is excellent in soft to medium hard water and is suitable for use on a wide range of materials including all ferrous and non-ferrous materials and is passivated against staining on galvanised steel, copper, brass and sensitive aluminium alloys.

Formulated to incorporate the latest performance additives; the product exhibits excellent lubricity characteristics to provide both good tool life and surface finish. The product is highly resistant to bacteria formation and exhibits excellent corrosion resistance whilst maintaining machine cleanliness and operator acceptability.

Fluid Maintenance

To check and maintain fluid concentration a refractometer is recommended, the resulting reading multiplied by the refractometer conversion factor will give the actual concentration strength. Maintaining a consistent concentration is paramount to prolonging the fluid sump life. To promote long service life, it is strongly advised that coolant systems are thoroughly sterilised with a System Cleaner prior to coolant changes (see Sarsol System Cleaner Technical Data Sheet for further information and guidelines).

Further tests for bacteria, fungus, pH and tramp oil contamination are available through our Cooltrak Fluid Management Service. This service offers guidance and assistance for users to comply with current HSE legislative requirements. Please contact us for further details.
