PERFACOLOR BC
PERFACOLOR BC
PERFACOLOR BC has been developed as a levelling agent and anti cross-staining agent for protein fibres and polyamides.
PERFACOLOR BC does not contain banned substances listed by GOTS/ZDHC, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and Bluesign. Perfacolor BC is available in 200kg and 25kg drums and 1000kg IBC’s.
Application
Can be mixed or dissolved with the dyestuffs prior to addition to the dyebath, or added to the dyebath prior to the introduction of the dyestuffs.
The following is a guide to the application levels for Perfacolor BC;
Dyeing:
Light shades 1.5-2.0% O.W.F.
Medium shades 0.75-1.50%
Dark shades 0.4-0.75%
Cross-Staining
To prevent cross-staining on multicolour garments and fabrics, a pre-treatment with 1-3% O.W.F. Perfacolor BC at 400C will remove loose dyestuff and hold in suspension thus preventing dye migration and cross-staining. In knitwear processing where short scour times are necessary, Perfacolor BC may be added with the scouring agent.
Benefits
- Migration: Excellent restraining and migrating properties on acid milling and chrome dyes, imparting superior levelling effects.
- Cross-Staining: Can be used as a pre-treatment prior to scouring to prevent cross-staining when processing wool and cashmere fabrics or knitwear.
- Penetration: Efficient penetrating powers make it ideal for hard twist yarns and dense fabrics.
- Contrasts: Gives clear contrast and tone effects on differentially-dyed polyamides.
- Build-Up: Imparts excellent build-up when used in rapid dyeing techniques and when used with dyestuffs of varying fibre affinity.
- Versatility: Will help eliminate side-to-centre shade differences in piece dyeing of polyamide carpets.
- Handling: Easily handled – dissolves readily in warm water and can be added directly to the dyebath.
